Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with a leading manufacturing client to find a Product Security Integration Engineer. This role involves interfacing with customers to ensure the secure deployment of complex IT systems, embedded devices, and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will guide customers through security configurations and collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and security best practices during system deployments.
What You'll Do:
- Advise customers on security best practices and ensure secure configurations for products.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and internal teams, enabling secure deployment of predictive analytics solutions.
- Address security concerns with communication protocols (e.g., AMQP, SNMP) and ensure alignment with customer systems.
- Work closely with customers’ security teams to integrate solutions according to their policies.
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams to adapt products to meet specific customer security needs.
- Support post-sales deployment efforts, focusing on secure system setups and ensuring compliance with security requirements.
What Experience You'll Have:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts in a customer-facing environment.
- Strong networking knowledge, with expertise in network configurations and troubleshooting.
- Experience securing systems in diverse environments, including cloud-based and embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with system deployments, focusing on holistic security configuration across multiple platforms.
What Experience is Nice to Have:
- Advanced security qualifications such as CISSP, CEH, or equivalent.
- Experience working with security protocols like TLS, VPN, and SSH.
- Familiarity with secure system configuration on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
