Job Title: Accounting Manager
Location/ Work Structure: Onsite / Northern Kentucky
Compensation: $90,000-110,000 annually

Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with an employee-owned company in northern Kentucky that is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to mentor the team and ensure a timely month end close. This is a high visibility role with room to grow.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure GAAP accounting policies and procedures.
  • Lead the accounting team through the monthly accounting cycle and review entries for accuracy.
  • Monthly reconciliations of highly sensitive accounts
  • Prepare and present analysis of financial statements to leadership.
  • Maintain a 13-week cash forecast.
  • Collaborate with the business intelligence team on reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes.

What You’ll Have:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • Previous team management
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.

What Is Nice To Have:
 

  • CPA or MBA
