This role is ideal for a highly skilled developer who is adept in creating, managing, and improving software interfaces with AutoCAD or similar design software. The position involves working within standard operating procedures, collaborating with Program Managers, and committing code to our dev ops team. The ideal candidate will possess a balance of technical and analytical skills, along with excellent documentation and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- C# Development: Serve as the primary developer focusing on C# applications that interface with AutoCAD or other design software, utilizing AutoCAD API hooks to enhance functionality.
- Documentation & Compliance: Follow and adhere to established standard operating procedures; ensure all development work aligns with company protocols and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with Program Management: Partner with Program Managers to gather requirements, understand project goals, and define technical specifications.
- Commitment to DevOps: Regularly commit code and updates to the dev ops team, ensuring timely and efficient development cycles.
- Planning and Design: Participate in planning and design activities for software projects, contributing to the overall architecture and development strategy.
Key Skillset:
- C# Expertise: Strong experience in C# development with a focus on database-driven applications and interfaces with design software like AutoCAD.
- AutoCAD API Integration: Proven experience interfacing C# with AutoCAD or similar design applications through API hooks.
- Database Skills: Proficient in SQL Server, ideally within a virtualized environment (VM), and skilled in working with IS applications.
- UI/UX Development: Experience with user interface design using XAML, WPF, and MVVM patterns to create efficient and visually appealing user experiences.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to document processes, project requirements, and code according to organizational standards.
- Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant experience in C# development, with a focus on design software integration and database management.
- Design Software: Familiarity with AutoCAD or other design software; experience with AutoCAD is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with additional design software beyond AutoCAD
- Experience working in a DevOps environment
