Required Skills:
- Current Ohio licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – only RRT candidates eligible
- Certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC Registry
- Proficiency in mechanical ventilation management and administration of respiratory therapeutic modalities
- Strong skills in arterial blood gas (ABG) procurement and interpretation
- Solid understanding of cardiopulmonary physiology and relevant pharmacology
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Ability to educate and support Respiratory Therapy students in clinical settings
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and other noninvasive respiratory procedures
- Background in bedside pulmonary function testing
- Prior involvement in clinical education or training programs
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an approved technical, professional, or vocational respiratory therapy program
- 1–2 years of hands-on respiratory care experience in a patient-centered environment
Other Requirements:
- Able to work full-time day shifts, totaling 72 hours biweekly
- Commitment to maintaining current certifications and licensure as required
