Vernovis partnering with a large utilities provider to onboard an IT Analyst in the Data Center and Disaster Recovery area.

What You'll Do:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
- 4+ years of experience in medium-to-large Data Center operations
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory Administration, VMWare vCenter administration, VMware vRealize (vRA) Automation, VMWare vRealize Operations (vROps) Automation, etc.
- Experience working closely with service providers and delegating operational activities to them, as directed by the manager
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure components, trends, and best practices
- Solid skills with enterprise-class servers, operating systems and productivity software
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
What Experience You'll Have:

- Facilitate cross-functional oversight and governance to ensure all aspects of the IT Data Center portfolio are included in short-medium-long term planning and prioritization.
- Understand Internal Audit findings and work on a comprehensive plans to remediate those.
- Provide the organization with visibility into the long-term roadmap for functional and technical changes to the portfolio.
- Ensure all analysts are aligned on expectations for the quality and thoroughness of deliverables; review the work of less experienced staff and ensure consistency across the portfolio.
- Work closely with IT Infrastructure Architects, IT Application, IT Office of the CIO, and business unit professionals, project managers and other areas of NiSource, and Service Providers to perform and/or support operational processes, including procurement and payment processing, spending optimization, and expense management related to infrastructure services.
