Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with an established and growing beverage distribution company in Indiana. This client is looking to bring in an Interim Controller to manage their month-end close and financial reporting for the next 2-3 months. There is a potential for engagement extension.
What You'll Do:
- Manipulate date from their existing Excel files and move everything from the Excel file to state excise tax forms
- Create guides on how to do this so future employees have something to refer to
- Make Excel files presentable so that Topicz can share them with 3rd party tax firms in the future. They may decide to have a their outside tax partners do this work in a year or two.
What Experience You'll Have:
- Heavy JD Edwards experience
- 8+ years of controller experience within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to lead both accounting and plant FP&A functions
