Compensation: $105,000 – $115,000

Client Overview:
Vernovis is partnering with a fast growing Manufacturing company to help them identify an IT Service Desk Technician to support their internal staff. This individual will be working in a manufacturing environment, onsite, 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for designing, configuring, installing, and maintaining LAN/WAN hardware, software, and telecommunications equipment
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage our physical and cloud infrastructure across all sites and remote data center
- Oversee network and server assets and maintain an accurate and comprehensive enterprise asset inventory
- Mentor and train junior network administrators, providing guidance on best practices and advanced techniques
- VMware configuration and support
- Azure, Hyper-V, VMWare, and/or experience with O365 or Intune
What Experience You’ll Have:
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, and other network technologies.
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.
- Experience leading projects and small teams.
What Experience is Nice to Have:
- Experience with Unifi, FortiGate, and Sophos network equipment is a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft AZ-900, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) are desirable.
